About the Your Future Your Integration project:
VAC is working in partnership with Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) and FWT (Foleshill Women’s Training) to deliver a programme of activity that supports refugees to integrate within the community of Coventry.
The project is delivered in two phases. Phase one of the project consists of a Floating Support Worker from CRMC or FWT supporting clients over time to address issues and barriers. Phase two of the project supports people to access opportunities to increase their community participation, such as attending social groups and volunteering.
VAC receives referrals from CRMC or FWT of clients that have been supported and are now seen as ready to start exploring volunteering as a route to increasing their skills and knowledge, gaining experience to use on their CV’s as well as building new relationships, social connections and contributing to community based organisations in the City.
