Sherril is a Community Activist and has been for the last four decades. Over the years, she has been the spearhead in the creation of several community groups, including Arawak Community Trust. She has represented the black community on various boards across Coventry & Warwickshire. With her boundless energy, whilst being very active in the community and a single mum, she was able to occupy various positions in statutory, private and community led organisations. Sherril has received several Community Champion Awards for her work for the community and she continues to create or source solutions to the many challenges faced by the black community. Sherril's sense of humour and infectious smile makes the relentless work and challenges of the sector that little bit easier to manage.
